‘Negotiations start at N239b’ – Galatasaray insider insists only Osimhen can change club’s stance
Speaking on the 343 Digital YouTube channel, Galatasaray insider Haluk Yürekli has insisted that Victor Osimhen is considered untouchable by the Turkish Super Lig champions and he’s set to remain at the club next season unless the striker personally pushes for an exit.
After another standout campaign in which he scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in 33 appearances across all competitions, the former African Footballer of the Year has been linked with a summer exit from the Lions.
Among the clubs credited with an interest are Real Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
Osimhen ended his collaboration with Napoli last summer after his 75 million euros release clause was activated by Galatasaray.
Amid interest from European powerhouses, Yürekli suggested that Galatasaray are prepared to demand at least €150 million (approximately ₦239 billion in Nigerian currency) before entering any negotiations with interested clubs.
In quotes relayed by habersarikirmizi, he stated: “Galatasaray has no intention of selling Victor Osimhen under any circumstances, regardless of the figures involved.
“There is only one possibility for a departure to occur: if Osimhen personally informs Galatasaray that he wants to leave.
“Only then could this matter be considered. In such a case, the negotiations would start at 150 million Euros.”
Osimhen has a contract with Galatasaray until the end of the 2028-2029 season.
