Millwall exciting winger Femi Azeez, who is on the shopping list of several Premier League clubs after a sterling showing in the Championship, made his Super Eagles debut against Zimbabwe with a statement performance, scoring a brace in the encounter.

The left-footed right winger scored in the 6th and 63rd minutes to give Nigeria victory. He had made 17 goal contributions in 35 Championship matches for Millwall to reach the promotion playoffs.

He was also named in the Championship Team of the Season.

Tuesday’s Super Eagles debut was the crowning glory for the 24-year-old star.

At least six Premier League clubs are now chasing Millwall winger Femi Azeez this summer, and the timing could not be more loaded, with the 24-year-old also set to make his Super Eagles debut at the Unity Cup in London.

Everton, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Fulham, and Sunderland have all been linked with Millwall winger Femi Azeez ahead of the summer transfer window, as reported by FootballInNigeria.com.ng. The interest comes off the back of a breakout Championship season in which Azeez registered 11 goals and eight assists in 37 league appearances, earning himself a place in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season. Fans who want to track the odds on where Azeez ends up this summer can scan Bet9ja’s Premier League transfer market ahead of the window opening.

Millwall are not in a rush. The Lions narrowly missed promotion to the Premier League after losing 2-0 on aggregate to Hull City in the Championship playoff semi-final, and with Azeez under contract, they hold all the cards. Reports indicate the club will only consider moving on a fee in the region of €20 million, a figure that reflects how much his stock has risen since joining from Reading in 2024.
